Now, you probably know the White Album isn't my favourite Beatles release and I've never really listened to Jay-Z all that much, but Danger Mouse has somewhat of a golden touch. I'm looking forward to the rest of Broken Bells! Ya, anyways, I find this album amazing.

Remember how Ryan Gosling was moving into music? Well this is what came of that! I read some articles about it the album and they played instruments they were unfamiliar with, kept the auto-tune out and only did a few takes for each song. Oh, and there's a children's choir.

Today has been such a weird day. I am so tired and the weather is so nice that I can't think straight or wrap my mind around just about anything. It feels like spring (making my winter 2 weeks long) and my class schedule sort of resembles last winter's so.... all I want to do is watch Beatles movies and listen to Traveling Wilburys on repeat in LP, casette, CD and mp3 form, but I guess my Ipod will have to do.
Traveling Wilburys
George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan with Jim Keltner on drums and Jim Horn on sax.. and other people I don't remember..
I can't pick only 3 songs or even tell you to listen to just one album.. so here are the track-listings to their 2 albums.
Vol. 1 (1988)
Handle With Care
Dirty World
Rattled
Last Night
Not Alone Anymore
Congratulations
Heading for the Light
Margarita
Tweeter and the Monkey Man
End of the Line
Maxine (bonus on 2007 release)
Like a Ship (bonus on 2007 release)
Vol. 3 (1990)
She's My Baby
Inside out
If You Belonged to Me
The Devil's Been Busy
7 Deadly Sins
Poor House
Where Were You Last Night
Cool Dry Place
New Blue Moon
You Took My Breath Away
Wilbury Twist
Nobody's Child (bonus on 2007 release)
Runaway (bonus on 2007 release)
Bonus somethings?
Song-wise I'd say the bonus songs from the CDs. Maxime especially.
Or you could just listen to: The Beatles- "All My Loving" or "It's All Too Much" or Oasis- "To Be Where There's Life"
I'm not sure I have watched any new videos this week. Just old ones. Go for Beastie Boys.
